i love my family more than anything! This is a late entry but who knew, i was looking for something life changing and i found it. Went on a trip to Chicago and Canada for almost two weeks and had the time of my life. To tell you the truth i was being kind of pessimistic to visit the east coast cause being from the west coast we all have our prejudices, but something about Chicago felt homey to me, seriously i could live there, the only negative thing about the place was the traffic and how small the streets were but over all it was great. Met a lot of cool and interesting people which was the awesome. The best part of the trip though was just hanging out with my family on my mom's side. It was fun every time. IT was a huge relaxation trip for my mom also because she got to hang out with her siblings, and wow the stories they tell are endless. I didn't know that people past their 50's could pull an all night-er and just laugh, cry and share their crazy stories. Hanging out with my cousins is like heaven, i met a bunch of them for the first time and they were all cool and i am very proud of them. I would take a bullet for anyone of them. We just stayed up and talked about video games, life and what not. It was really funny because we stayed up as late as we can and no one was budging in for sleep until everyone else is sleeps, haha that just show's how we all love each other. I didn't get to eat the chicago style deep dish pizza but i bet it's nothing compared to the white castle's which rocks and the time i have spent with my family which i would treasure forever.

Sushi for me? Unagi

So yep, i am not a fan of sushi or anything raw.I know a lot of sushi lovers and i don't want to be left out because my cousin told me that there is a really good sushi buffet in San Diego. So today i have tried one particular kind of sushi which my cousin told me was called Unagi or Eel sushi. I am not a fan of eel either, just thinking about what an eel looks like scares the crap out of me. But still the unagi sushi looked good. I gathered up my courage and grab a sweet and hot soy sauce and dipped it in, and alas it was awesome. I think i had ten rolls of the sushi. From now on this will be the only sushi i am going to eat. Try it out peeps!

Laker Hunger!

Die hard laker fan right here.
This is the year that kobe will win his 4th nba title and finally getting out of the kobe cant win without shaq shadow. Kobe aka "the black mamba" has that killer look in his eyes, and has anyone seen that so called "kobe scowl" jesus, that thing is both insane and scary. It just shows how this man has the killer instinct and the driving force to take over and win ball games. You ain't gonna be called the best closer in the planet for nothing. I was skeptical about the lakers performance in the playoffs, particularly the rockets and the nuggets series, but to tell you the truth, those games really toughened then up. Pau Gasol soft? mayebe 60/40 but its game 3 today and were up 2-0 and dwight the so called superman howard has only made 1 dunk? lol. Im also loving that Lamar " The candy man" Odom has shown his true potential and greatness when it matters, indeed he is the soul of the lakers. LAmar i am sorry for ever doubting you, when you win, you will truly deserve the ring for all the heat you have been taking. To the supporting cast, Bynum still needs to step up and be smart about his fouls, and props to D-fish for shaming the young orlando magic PG's!
GO LAKERS!!! and Lebron Who?

Fear of the Sea? CHECK (Bioshock Review)
something that makes you dizzy and want to throw up is not a good thing, and yes that is the case with me and first person shooters. Upon 10 minutes of playing it i feel like my head is spinning and i needed to take a break. I played counter strike before, and yes i sucked at it but 30 minutes tops i was dizzy as hell.
Getting a ps3 made me realize that i need to get used to first person shooters, because 75% of the good games that are coming out are fps, and i don't want to miss out, but to the cost of what? me vomiting after 30 minutes of game play? exaggeration there but it could happen.

Alas, i had to take the gamble and i tried Bioshock and to to my amazement i was bio SHOCKED! sorry for the corniness. The game is very twisted and exquisite. while playing it i feel like im in a sci-fi horror movie which is pure awesomeness. There are a lot of freaky things in the game, the enemies alone are freaky enough, the are sick and demented beings, i remember walking in a murderous clinic, and upon seeing this grotesque doctor murdering a patient, he turned the lights off, and when it pop backed on he was gone, then after examining the room, the bastard hid himself in the cabinet and jumped out like a freak on me. Luckily i have my machine gun to blast his brains into smithereens lol. There are also moral choices here, you get to decide if you want to kill the "little sisters" freaky little girls who looks like they are half dead with pure yellow eyes. If you decide to kill em you get their "Adam" which are stem cells which will grant you max amount of power to defeat the baddies. In turn if you don't kill em, you can cure them and return them to their normal and cute state and in return you will only get half the "Adam". Like i said i was addicted to this game, so i killed all the "little sisters" that i could fine, just to have no trouble of killing the bad guys, but yep i really felt bad doing it. Also these "little sisters" have a big bionic body guard "Big Daddy's" which protects them, so you have to deal with them first before you can get the "Adam" which i have to say is a tough fight. I fell in love with the game because of its awesome story line and the scenery and music matches the environment perfectly. In the future i think i would replay the game again to unlock the good side. Overall this game gets a 10 out of 10, and yes im going to get bioshock 2 collectors edition. =)

Addicted to the ps3! (Infamous Review)

yep,
ps3 has caught my fancy and it is freaking awesome! I just finished infamous which is an open world hero/villain kind of thing where you decide your fate as being the savior or destroyer and the city and so far i am very impressed. I was never a fan of free roaming games, never played any of the GTA series, but Infamous turned things around for me, the story line was okay, the things that intrigued me was the decision making, whereas base on certain situations you can either choose the good or the bad side thereby deciding the plot of the story. The decision that got my heart pounding was that i had to choose between saving the in game girlfriend's life or saving 7 doctors who are much needed by the city and yes i had to pause the game and see what happens if i chose whatever lol. I chose to save the lady and spoiler, she still ended up death because the antagonist did not keep his end of the bargain. In effect that made me want to become more evil, i wanted to whoop the antagonist's ass, but i got a hold of myself and still chose the path of the hero.
Overall i would rate this game a 10/10, the story like mentioned above is okay, choosing your path is awesome, and the mind blowing electricity dynamics are off the charts. I have yet to play the bad side which i will soon try in the future, but yep this is one of the games worth the money and earns a place in your top 10 games list.

Vetkin says Goodbye to WoW =(
Hey peeps,
This is Vetkin/Conrad, and as of right now this has to be the toughest decision and saddest day of my online life. It was no easy task but I decided to part ways with my wow account due to personal reasons.
I know you guys know me on a high level, and I have that disgusted feeling in my stomach right now. I honestly don’t feel good about doing this. This decision is really hard because you guys know for a fact that I hate letting people down. You guys are my online family, you guys have been and will always be a huge part of my life and I love all of you.
I am really thankful for all the experience and I never regretted playing the game. As you all know I’m in college right now and the game kept me away from the troubles of college and it even got me through tough times because of all of your company and friendship. I would take a bullet for any of you and I mean that.
This decision wasn’t made because I was bored of the game, I still love it and the best part is spending it with the people you know and like. That’s why I tried to do my very best just to keep everyone happy, I even stepped out of my dps comfort zone and healed for a while because loot doesn’t really matter to me, I just like people progressing without any problems or dramas and of course having fun with the people I enjoy company with.
I need to part ways with the game cause I need to focus on real life obligations right now. I am taking a lot of summer classes and after that I will get in a medical program and be a fulltime student so that I can finish early and get a steady job.
Being around you guys made me a better person. I have learned a lot because there are so many of you who are very supportive and wonderful people. From Arthur and Jessica to Parker and Colleen: you guys really inspire me because you guys really set your priorities straight, FAMILY always comes first before wow. I am really proud of you guys and you guys are the coolest couples and parents that I know. When I have family of my own, I will model it after yours, always together and always having fun. You guys are the sweetest people I know and I really felt bad that I didn’t get a chance to meet you in RL when you guys came to blizzcon. To Dave who I consider my online uncle. I am very proud of your integrity and values, hopefully when I grow old I will possess as much wisdom and insight as you do so I will always see things in a positive way. To Cathleen, for being a really cool person to talk too and share opinions with. I have too much positive and great things about you guys and all the good words in the dictionary aren’t enough to show how much you guys mean to me and impacted my life. Hopefully everyone will understand my case cause I hate the thought that some people will feel upset or may view me as a selfish person for doing this. I wouldn’t trade the time I have spent with you guys for anything because I was really happy when you guys are around, just the conversations, jokes opinions and values are very enjoyable and I wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s why I have no reason of leaving for another guild, it’s all because of the people around me and I was really content with that. I wish the very best for everyone and I won’t forget each and every one of you.
The Old PTT and outside prolong peeps.
Don’t think that I forgot about you guys, I wouldn’t be playing this game without your friendship and camaraderie. Damien and Drake (Negusnegast and Prong) you guys were my online brothers, never had any arguments and we were always having fun. Thanks for getting me into the game and thanks for all the help and conversations that we had. Martello, Treetment, CanadianFBI, Ronnis,Mokoto and Doostok and Drakoda, you guys have been awesome, I remember all the times we raided and our crazy and sometimes drunk conversations, you guys are like my online frat brothers which made wow a whole lot fun. I could go on and on about the fun times that I’ve had with you guys but I don’t think it will fit in an entire word document.
Moving on to Prolong the Torment:
The best guild in Alexstrasza no doubt about it, I would like to thank each and every one of you for all the pleasantries and experience. If I didn’t mention your name don’t feel bad or offended because I know how each and every one of you contributed and stuck through thick and thin when things were falling apart. I am really happy about the fact that when things are looking grim, ptt was always able to pull through because of the positivity of the people who governs it. Arthur, my hats off to you for leading this guild and keeping things together, being a GM is hard task and you always handle things pretty well. To all the supporting peeps who guides and governs ptt, Artanisa, Gwydiongrey, Catlaw, Vanawesom, Azlen,Cobere, Skullscrape and many more, /salute to you guys and I bow in your presence. Like I said WoW is only worthwhile if you enjoy the company of peeps that you play with.
I can’t say that I haven’t shed a tear over this matter, I did. Just thinking about this made my chest hurt and stomach jittery. Please don’t be disappointed or betrayed by my actions. I am only doing this because I need to put everything in perspective and look at the big picture. I feel bad for not logging on and saying my goodbyes online, my reasoning is that it’s too tough for me and that I don’t want to deal with the emotional stress and I know that my conscience is going to kill me.That’s why I wrote this letter instead. I have too much stuff to be thankful for from you guys and I got to say that you guys are the coolest and nicest person that I met, and a lot of you are even better than some of my real life friends. You guys mean the world to me, so please understand and don’t be mad or frustrated at me for doing this.
I don’t know what to do with my account yet, with some research I found out that according to blizzards EULA is not truly illegal to sell or transfer ownership for your wow account as long as you give the transferee all the information, cd keys and manuals. but my biggest bet would be that I would sell it.I will drop by from time to time to say hi to you guys, I am uncertain about going back to wow, but if I ever do I still have another account that’s inactive so I’ll probably just get on that. I am looking forward to Diablo 3 and I know you guys are too. That I think I can handle with all this real life obligations. Hopefully there is an online component to it, so when it comes out we can all play together again.
Feel free to stay in contact with me as I will with you guys through myspace. My email address is conrad_incubus@yahoo.com and if you own a ps3 you can add me up my gamer id is conrads123. You can also follow me at www.conradincubus.blogspot.com if you guys are into blogs. I promise to keep in touch with you guys.
Well this is it for me and my wow days are over. I would like to give out my thanks again to everyone who made this game worthwhile and fun. You guys are my online family. I love you all and there will always be a special place for you guys in my heart. Please keep in touch guys. Everyone have fun, I love all of you and may you guys be showered with blessings.
Prolong the Torment Rocks.
Your fiery Mage, Vetkin

Places to Visit: Solvang Danish Community
This place i got to say is uber awesome, although when we went there the place was swarming with tourists like us lol. but no wonder tourists go visit this place, it is so beautiful. Think of a town with a small population, where everyone knows each others names and you can safely walk the streets at night without the fear of being mugged or harassed. That's what Solvang is all about. From beautiful structures (yep there is a windmill) and from awesome restaurants this place is a must to visit. I actually wouldn't mind living here too.
Food for Thought! Yep this is a double whammy not only is this place beautiful but the food here is freaking awesome. We ate at Paula's Pancakes and i highly recommend that place. Move over Denny's Slam Meals, cause Paula's the new cook in town. I just ordered a meal of pancakes with a choice of bacon or sausage. Note: I am not a big fan of sausage so of course i went with the ever delicious bacon! which i got to say was the bomb, also that their pancakes are off the charts! best pancakes i have ever tasted in my life i swear.
All in all it was a good experience not just because the place and the food was great but when i went there most of my cousins in my dad's side was with me during the whole trip and everone was having a good time.
Downtown with tito Don, ate sabrina and conrad.
Pancake Power with third, conrad and kuya caloy.
Sitting with the cousin crew.
Chow time with the cousins.
Conrad at a Coffee Shop (inside is the famous Ginger Bread House).
Solvang's Tourist Center.
The cousins.
On a side note i just took this picture because i thought it was hilarous. Their bank name is Rabobank which sounds like Rob A Bank. Duh!
