Nerd Alert: A Look Back at the Burning Crusade! World of Warcraft

From now on, Nerd Alert will be a section of my blog for world of warcraft!

my my, the world of warcraft my stress reliever, the expansion is coming out this Thursday and for sure i will be falling in line at 12 am. in the cold with other warcraft fans for the midnight launch. the excitement is in the air a new chapter for nerds and adventure lovers.

Now a look back at the Burning Crusade, the past expansion! i would have to say that it was great, if i had to give the game a review it would be an A++, lots of good stuff and story line. Had lots of sleepless nights, great dungeons and raids, if i was given a choice i would still delay the next expansion so i could see more content of the burning crusade but that's that, i could say that i have seen 92% of the content and that's fine with me, im a casual gamer not a hardcore one.

i am still inlove with my mage Vetkin, he kicks butt with fireballs and flames, trolls rule. Burning crusade time, i have decided to make my very first alt, the hot and feisty shadow priest Francheska, and i got to say, she turned out better than expected, not only was she leet, but in my opinion she helped the guild greatly in clearing out dungeons with ease with her off healing and mana regen, come expansion time she might not see much playing time, but she will be getting some action i guarantee it.. but she might be a healer in the future.

the greatest guild in the world...... of warcraft, Prolong The Torment! the guild has seen its ups and downs in the expansion, the ups, clearing out and farming karazhan with 3 groups, hitting Gruul's lair with 25 members and almost clearing ZA! i would say that it was pretty great for a casual guild. Was really fun! then of course the decline, with so much peeps, diversity, differences and opinions there would definitely be arguments and drama. with that a lot of peeps left for personal reasons others want to see higher content so the raiding ceased. Then comes the up again, the main members stayed, started to rebuild the fun and excitement, stuck with our values and started having fun again, new faces and personalities the guild is back to its old form a family of fun loving and respectful people,. come expansion time we will rise to the top again! i love my guild and i will never move, was tempted too move to other hardcore raiding guilds but ive been in PTT for so long that i don't think i can manage without my online family. best casual guild in Alexstrasza!

Overall it was hella fun, great experiences and more to come once the expansion gets here!

NBA: Evaluating the fantasy team

Im so excited, the nba season is upon us and it begins today with two excellent double headers. FIrst off my much hated Boston Celtics, with the exception of Kevin Garnett vs. King James and his cavaliers, i just hope the Celtics lose. Next is the purple and gold led by kobe and his big men company vs Portland's young and athletic team. Portland is good but the lakers are God, wait for Bynum to own Oden down the paint. Go Lakers.

Now for the fantasy team line up. I got to say i have yet to win a fantasy gold tile, but for the past years that i have been playing 2006 i got 3rd place, 2008 i got 2nd place, which leads to 2009 CHAMPIONS! i can only hope that my players are healthy enough to finish, but now i have two players who might not even start because of injuries so here goes.

PG:
1.Tony Parker-one of the best point guards in the game, He is one of the reasons that the Spurs are still tough and are still a team to beat in the western conference, with his assist and scoring ability, there should be no problem at the pg position.

Jameer Nelson-had a good season last year, hopefully will have another good season this year.

SG/G:
1.Richard Hamilton-the man with the iron mask, one of my favorite players, can score and good at crunch time.

Ray Allen- Deadly shooter, scoring streak but a Celtic heh thats a toss up.
Mike Miller-excellent shooter but cant defend so we will see.

SF:
Ron Artest-NBA's badboy after Rodman, i didn't put him as a reserve because i love his toughness and defense.

Luol Deng-hopes this guy has a good season, he is one of the best players in the bulls with his length and the ability to finish.

F:
Carmelo Anthony-can be compared to Lebron and Dwayne Wade, got game but needs to improve on defense, lets see if his Camby less Nuggets can secure a spot in the playoffs.

PF:
Chris Bosh-one of my favorite players, tremendous passion for the game and excellent defender, proved his abilities in the olympics.
Lamar Odom-definitely the sleeper on my roster,can be great one night and can have good nights and off nights therefore inconsistent. Prediction this will be his breakout year and he will win the 6th man award! go Lamar!
David West-with last seasons success of the Hornets, this all star will provide me with solid stats.

C:
Amare Stoudemire-excellent game, rebounds,blocks and points, Amare's got game but his laker hate is really bugging me.

Tyson Chandler-Alley-Oop Dunking monster, has passion and brings tenacity to the hornest, excellent pick up!

there we have it, i hope these guys stay healthy all season, dont want to trade any of them, but are welcome to any ideas!

NERD ALERT: World of Warcraft Mount!

woot woot! yes as you may know i am addicted to world of warcraft and i am a nerd about it,and last night was the best experience yet. Hallow's end event is a halloween event in WOW and i think its the best one, and for the main event you have to kill a headless horseman in the process. Me and my guildies managed to kill him and guess what dropped? a super rare item which is his epic flying mount, with anticipation everyone needed on it,and hell yes! i was the one who won it! i got to say it really made my day, for a long time, this has got to be the best thing that ever happened to me in wow so im pretty psyched about it. Yes i know im a nerd, but that makes me, me, so deal with it!

The Palku's

I miss em! I miss the stories and the booze, the laughter and the tears, the jokes and the girls, the problems and advice! man i love these guys, i dont consider them to be just my casual friends, to me their family and they are irreplaceable. like the saying goes, there is no place like home! and yes when im with them im home. Hanging out with these guys is the best and they are true friends not some fake ones who would stab you in the back. Our routine usually starts at around 11:00 pm... everyone hangs out at "the post" its a joint street in my hometown, and it literally is an electrical post, lol, from then on we share stories and whatever nonsense we come up with, come 12:30-1:00 a.m. if we have the money we pitch in to buy beer, ice, generoso and pulutan! well our pulutan varies if we have left over food from dinner, we bring it out! its better to use it as pulutan than just waste it! and you know what they say,nothing beats home cooking! we enjoy sisig, happy peanuts and i think the best pulutan is something that comes in a can and you cook it with dairy cream margarine, which is sardines mixed with margarine! i love it! as the night pushes through we share thoughts and opinions about problems with our daily lives, girls and relationship what not! sometimes we ridicule each other with nasty jokes, but its all good, and for the problems that we have, you get very good insight and advice, because no one knows a problem better than the one who experienced and dealt with it and i know that almost all of us have problems, and the greatest solutions for them is a beer and a talk with your friends. As time pushes through with all the laughter and meaningless story telling and life experiences, our happy hour of drinking ends at about 7:00 am. the latest that i drank with my friends is until 10 am. after that, we usually head to Manoy's or any other casual carenderia where they serve Lugaw and Tapsilog and of course fried rice and sabaw with chili sauce! the best! at these point were sober and sleepy.... then after some good shut eye the cycle starts again at 11:00pm. that i would have to say is one of the best experiences in my life, and when i go back home i would do it over and over again with the palku's! i miss you guys like hell!

Wicked Week!

been a week, since i blogged, any who i am stuck here with my best buddy mr. insomnia, cant sleep again, just listening to Feist songs they make me relax and feel good. Anyways what a week it has been, i hate anatomy and the muscles! hehe love or hate anatomy i still have to pass it.

Heroes: this week i have to say that i am pretty much awed by my physical geography professor, ms. Crystal Lovetere! literally her class rocks! that's the only reason i enjoy my Wednesday night class. She makes geography fun, her comments are really funny and she has this dating tips, why is the sky blue? hahaha now i can tell you the answer to that.. anyways what impressed me the most was how she changed her lifestyle to save planet earth! seriously our minds are so washed up that we dont think about simple stuff that can help prevent global warming or just to save nature! i truly like her insight on things.. she inspired me! so from now on, less water bottles for me, no more paper plates and plastic cups! Go Earth!

God High School Rocks!

God i miss high school, best days of my life seriously, all the crazy fun like cheating, cutting classes, drinking etc. high school is definitely not a blur to me, and if i can go back i would, pretty sad though that i didn't graduate with my friends cause i left for america in my senior year,although were a million miles away from each other, im grateful and glad that i still have deep and strong connections with them and all of us stay in touch. Im really happy that i have these people in my life, my vacation last may was awesome, it was a great reunion for us, almost all my closest friends attended, we drinked, ate and shared stories of memories of our glorious high school days! im glad that all all of my friends are doing great! i miss them a lot! you guys rock! till our next meeting guys!

Great Week, more sweet things to come =)

overall had a great week, was pressured by the anatomy test, but in the end everything came out great, passed the test with good scores, heck i didn't know i could study that way again. Learned a few new guitar songs this week, house marathon was really great,had a lazy weekend and i am very well rested.

Looking forward to a great week, although there is a hard anatomy test this coming Friday but i think i am set for it. im excited to go my geography class because the professor is nice and geeky and its a a night class, and night (nocturnal) peeps are kewl. The office season 5 is coming out the 25th, more laughs for me, and friday i might get a new gaming pc, next week harvest moon is out! woot! hope everything's smooth this week... have a nice sleep ladies and gents...

top 10 video games i can't live without!

video games, is like water and food, it is essential to every guys life for survival. video games is like therapy for us guys, here we vent out our frustrations and we feel at peace when no one is bothering us, or this is mostly the place where our alter ego's come out, whether i want to be samurai or just lead the lakers and dominate every team in the nba. I basically got my ps2 and pc during the early 90's after that i never stopped playing.here is my top 10 list of the best video games that i have ever played.

10. Mario Kart Series - i happen to own a wii, and i love it because of this game, nascar or any racing thing is boring.. but put in mario in a kart or a motor bike, throw shells and bananas at your enemies and this is one hell of a racing game.

9. Tony Hawk - face it, im no skater, i tried it when i was young but i sucked at it, so i just stuck to the video games, cool tricks and awesome rock songs and you got a winner, i suggest that you play tony hawk 2 on the ps2 cause in my opinion its the best one in the series.

8. Battle Realms - quite possibly the only RTS that i have ever loved, about samurai's geisha's and everything in between the samurai era!

7. The NBA live series - there is no other way to vent my frustrations to other teams that has luckily beat my lakers, here i can make kobe dunk over shaq's or ray allens face anytime of the day.

6. Monster Rancher Series - train your very own monster, breed them and make them fight to the death, hells yeah! awesome game with awesome unlockables.

5. Final Fantasy Series - epic story lines, epic battles, epic characters and graphics gets my votes every time, i would have to say that i was final fantasy x that i enjoyed the most.

4. Diablo 2 - WoW was born from this game, this pc classic has an awesome story line, awesome customization, if you have never played this game.. you are not a hardcore gamer.

3. Harvest Moon Series - the most relaxing game i have ever played, with one goal which is Living your life as a farmer. Now with or without a green thumb, i cant plant vegetables, raise livestock and even court, marry and have children with the townspeople, rock!

2. Resident Evil Series - Blowing up zombies heads! nuff said, scary scenes, guns and a deep story line, you could ask for more blood, gore and action out of this game.

1. World Of Warcarft - sometimes referred to as the life consumer! lol the box should have a warning that "once played you will never ever stop" best game on planet earth. over 3 million peeps playing world wide. Need i say more?

i suggest that you guys try this games out, for sure you will have some fun, i p;an to keep the copies of these games and share it with my kids someday! that would rock!

every guys weakness, a hot chick, with exceptional beauty, grace and talent! i was about to make a top 10 list but that might come up soon. These are the women that rock my world!

5. Laura Prepon - that hot 70's show girl!she is quirky, smart, funny and a red head! i can be her eric any time of the day.

4. olivia Wilde - you might know her as the "number 13" girl in house, and she definitely puts the letter H-O-T in hospital.. although she is a natural blond,she still looks hot as a red head. Her eyes and cheek bones are very appealing and sexy.

3. Olivia Munn - the quirky, hyper, crazy, funny and sexy ms. munn is the host of attack of the show. She travels the net and the world searching for irrelevant and weird things and brings it to the internet for all of us to see. her sketches are funny and she is not afraid to take on sexy challenges or a.k.a. sexy pranks on her.


2. Cindy Kurleto - definitely my favorite filipina chick of all time. she is a vj on mtv asia and an actress on "eat bulaga", she is also FHM's number 11 hottest filipina but never mind that she will always be number one in my heart!


1. Eva Green - finally, the sexy and seductive ms. Eva Green, the only reason i watched casino royale more times than kung fu films is because of her. truly hot and sexy, her eyes and lips will melt you away!

Laker Vengeance!

I've said it before and i will say it again, Lakers will win the NBA championships.I am a huge laker fan and i bleed purple and gold. My predictions next season, Lakers VS Celtics again in the finals and the lakers will win it in Game 5! I am so hopeful and excited about the upcoming season, Last season were only 2 games away from winning it all, and now its really within our grasp. I am really excited about the return of big bynum, once again he will be a huge factor for us to win it all. I am truly grateful that we have papapapa pau gasol on our team, he played out of his true position last year and he was awesome, this year he is back as pf and bynum as center, woot lakers twin towers ftw. also don't get me wrong i love lamar odom, but his inconsistency is getting to me, i dont want to trade him because he is a great guy and team would be lucky to have him for his versatility and his rebounds, i just hope he improves and be much more consistent. as for mr. kobe bean bryant, god speed to you and i hope that your decision to not undergo surgery will really not bother you at all come crunch time!the Zen master phil is still chill and our future point guards better step up! lakers a go go! also the Olympics was great, big props to d-wade, and chris bosh, two of my favorite players, a healthy dwayne wade is a dangerous miami team, i wish him all the best, well maybe not against facing the lakers lol. Looking forward to an exciting nba season!

believe me,i am very picky about the t.v. shows that i watch, with all the crap in television today like reality shows,how to be a model and what not, there are still some shows that kick butt because they are quirky and awesomely funny! my top must see things to watch is The Office which kicks off to a new season and house m.d., if i was to review the office i would give it a 15 out of ten stars!why? because the other 5 stars belong to dwight schrute!

big deal, so yeah i am a nerd! and yes i do play world of warcraft,why? because hells yeah its the most awesome game in the whole wide world and nothing can beat it! its addictive as hell and during my spare time (which i have a lot of since im still a student) even my two brothers are hooked on it! if your a gamer and you haven't tried out WOW then you are definitely missing out. I have been playing for almost 3 straight years now, and i don't think im ever gonna stop,lmao, by the way the new expansion is coming out so they say in November, so thats a think to look forward for! all your epics belong to me! woot!

insomnia and me!

i could probably be counted as a vampire literally for my sleeping habits and my appetite not for blood but for youtube and watching it's endless contents of live performances of alternative rock artists which i love. Seriously i don't know whats wrong with me, i basically sleep at 5am or later.. its all good though, actually i kinda like it, i love the quiet, no people talking, its just me and my music and the random things that have been floating around in my head. Right now im listening to feel good music, radiohead, semisonic and yeah i would definitely recommend that you guys go listen to Feist and all her live performances in Paris, its relaxing and any female who can rock out the guitar is a turn on for me, but believe me, feist is truly amazing, pure talent and cuteness! i wish i was her guitar! =) anyhows there are still a lot of good music out there especially from the 90's! woot the 90's really rocked! im really glad that i grew up and listened to music in that era.. the music that ive been hearing today sounds gay because they are too emotional thus because they are from emo bands, there are a few exceptions though but they are just one hit wonders.. oh well.. gonna write more stuff!

woot! finally i made a blog, i have been dreading to write a blog of my own, so i can get these crazy thoughts out of my head. so basically blogging is like your world wide web diary for everyone to see.
